This project focused on the structural frame of the shelter and only deals with static gravitational load. Brisk Monster is hence developed which aims to house 6 adults for 1 to 2 years. Cold-formed light gauge steel is used for this shelter as it has the main advantage of a high strength to weight ratio. In order to verify the design of this system, a material test and connection test in the form of a tensile test and lap joint shear test is carried out respectively.
