The final year project is one of the most important steps in undergraduates’ journey. This is the last hurdle NTU students need to pass to graduate and pursue a career or further education. In NTU, it is not to be taken lightly. Hence, every step from selecting projects to presenting them must be handled with caution. Currently, NTU has a centralized FYP selection system. When the selection time opens, students can submit their preferred FYP. It is working properly for the general case. However, the FYP selection process does not stop after the selection time is closed. For example, eligible students who miss the selection will need to be handled manually by the FYP administrator. This project aims to supplement the main selection system. It allows eligible students to select their FYP even after the main selection system is closed. It also helps administrators manage the FYP balance list and generate the necessary report. The project will be delivered in a form of a web app. Administrators will have their admin page, where they can modify the database accordingly and generate reports regarding the reservation and selection of the FYPs. Students will have their page to reserve and select their preferred FYP.
