Having someone in the family who has dementia can be the most challenging part of their daily life. In most cases, family members will choose to bring their loved ones to daycare centres during the day. With an expected increase in aging population in Singapore and with the expected rising number of dementia patients, the demand for caregivers and the facilities in the daycare centres will increase. In this project, the PEAR system was developed to support the stakeholders in the daycare centres. This system serves to alleviate stress in caregivers and delivers person-centred care to dementia patients. This system also allows for the communication of information between stakeholders and the scheduling of activities in daycare centres. The overall structure of this system consisted of an Android application and a Web application. This project consists of two teams, the front-end team and the back-end team. The front-end team is responsible for the Android application while the back-end team is responsible with maintaining the application programming interface (API) together with the Web application. The author was allocated to the front-end team and as a front-end developer, the author was tasked to enhance and maintain the existing PEAR android application. The author will be covering the Photo Album and Holiday Experiences features in the PEAR application. The author had developed User Interface (UI) test cases using existing Appium’s automated testing tools. The UI test cases developed will also be covered in this report. Dementia is when a person loses his intellectual abilities such as remembering,
thinking, or making decisions that affect his daily activities. Having someone in
the family who has dementia can be the most challenging part of their daily life. In
