Description
Summary:This report introduces the improvements of the Augmented Reality Hologram (ARHolo) Android application. Users previously could create, display and place holographic images with their smartphones. Moreover, with the social media platform, SocialGram, developed from the last Final Year Project, users can now share their work to it. SocialGram also includes comments and followers/following functions to further improve on user interactions. The objective of this Final Year Project is to supplement the social media platform with additional features to amplify users’ experiences on the app. SocialGram is developed via Flutter and supported by Firebase Cloud Database. The chosen programming languages are integrated into the current Java android mobile application. The new functions developed in this project aim to further improve users’ communication with one another, closing the gap between users despite being on their phones. By further enhancing the user interface (UI), users would be more enticed to promote SocialGram and ARHolo app to others.
