As technology advances, society as a whole shifted towards prioritizing convenience and time over cost, hence resulting in a large majority of commuters preferring to take private transport over public transport. This is detrimental when working towards sustainable urban mobility as private transport vehicles emit much more greenhouse gases as opposed to public transport such as buses [1]. Hence, by analyzing urban mobility data, we will able to find out the price-time trade-off for users when deciding between public or private transport and finally promote the use of public transport. This project aims to create a web application to be able to compare the prices between private and public transport, and recommend to users the most efficient and convenient choice of transport whilst taking into consideration the notion of promoting sustainable yet accessible urban mobility.
