One report shows that there are 5.45 million (Singapore population 5.92 million) internet users in Singapore in January 2022[1]. Inevitably network security becomes a big concern for all internet users, to keep information secure and safe when transfer via network, government and leading companies keep putting effort and increasing budget yearly on network security research and development. Cryptography is introduced to help protect information from being disclosed to unauthorized parties, it is the art or science encompassing the principles and methods of converting an intelligence-message (human readable) to unintelligence form, in modern times also referred to encryption. The purpose of this project is to introduce the basic concept of cryptography and some of its traditional encryption algorithms to more people by a game-based learning application, CryptoFun, a desktop game application is designed and developed to make the learning process become more fun and effective.
