The process of reconstruction may take weeks or even months for the Accident Reconstructionists to complete an accident reconstruction and it is greatly dependent on the complexity of the accident. However, in the current market in Singapore, there is very limited number of companies dealing with accident reconstruction. Furthermore, this is a type of commercial business and henceforth, few companies are willing to share the softwares used in accident reconstruction. In turn, people often have very limited or no knowledge of Traffic Accident Reconstruction. The objective of this reasearch project is to heighten the knowledge on Traffic Accident Reconstruction and the application of two softwares for reconstructing road traffic accident. The two softwares are namely, The PhotoModeler, which aids in creating 3-Dimension model from photographs and The Crash Zone which allows reconstructionists to determine both the pre and post impact speed and create animation of the accident. Subsequently, the information and possible animations will show how the accident actually happened and they can be presented in Court as evidence. Furthermore, it is recommended that the school able to collaborate with the Singapore Traffic Police Force so that resources for the reconstruction can be attained easily and real accident cases can be put into application.
