Description
Summary:The report evaluates the performance of receivers through one of the diversity combining techniques to improve on the bit-error rate of the wireless communication system. In this report, Maximal Ratio Combining (MRC) is used to see if there is an improvement in the bit error rate of the message signals after undergoing interferences and fading channels while in transmission. The bit error rate of the message signal in both additive white gaussian noise and Rayleigh fading channel will be simulated and studied using MATLAB. The message signal used in this project is binary phase shift keying (BPSK) and binary frequency shift keying (BFSK).
