BBB can be used to build home automation systems, vision enabled robot systems and countless other own-hobby projects. The new BBB which can host 32-bit and has ARM processor that are capable to run many desktop and mobile-manageable operating systems such as Ubuntu, Debian, and Android. The "Bone" may be used in various projects from college engineering projects up to senior engineering design projects of complex systems. New users can access and have fun with the hardware-functionality of the BBB through the BBB software/firmware called Bone Script to experience through a Web browser in most operating systems, including the Linux operating systems, Apple Mac OS X, or Microsoft Windows.
