OLED technology has great potential in the electronic display market as more digital devices are integrating OLED as a source of display. This project will focus on OLED, specifically how the structure and material used in the OLED affects its performance, particular on the active layers or the organic layers. During this project, the first software simulation will be used to adjust the thickness of the active layers and determine the relationship between the thickness of active layers and the performance of the OLED. The second software simulation will be used to adjust the material of the active layers, mainly the emissive layer to determine the visual effect of the light illuminated. The last software simulation will involve the addition of more active layers and how it affects the performances of OLED.
