Description
Summary:With online learning platforms rising in popularity in recent years, many have turned to these platforms to learn new skills or expand the knowledge that they already have. However, this convenience results in the loss of peer to peer interaction in the classroom which can be extremely beneficial in improving the quality of learning experienced by students. Though some platforms have features that attempt to bridge this loss of student interaction in learning, it is still not enough. This project aims to introduce a new way for students to learn from each other through peer assessments. To achieve this objective, this project will cover the development of a web-based platform using the MERN stack. The main features of this platform will include allowing instructors to create courses, allowing students to create tests for their fellow students to take and a dashboard for instructors to view how well their students are learning the material taught in the course.
