Description
Summary:Magnetic resonance coupling circuit is used in the inductive resonance based wireless power transfer system. The coupling coefficients and efficiency are calculated using numerical equations and equivalent circuits. Because inductive resonance coupling employs a non-radiative approach, the crucial parameter is to establish a resonance frequency in order to achieve a stronger coupling between the transfer and receiving coils. The coupling between two resonator coils is demonstrated using MATLAB. Equivalent circuits are used to analyze a resonator-coupled wireless power transfer (WPT) system using the band-pass filter theory. Equivalent circuit component equations are obtained. As a result, changes in load impedance or coupling coefficient are easily responded to.
