Description
Summary:Wireless power transfer does not rely on traditional wires to transmit energy. It has a high degree of safety and convenience and has broad application prospects. Since the application environment of the wireless power transfer system often changes, such as load changes and transmission distance changes, we can apply some modulation methods to the inverter to achieve the purpose of adjusting the output power. A complete simulation circuit for wireless power transfer system is built in this project, the inverter is a single-phase full-bridge inverter. The resonant frequency of the transmitter part and the receiver part is 80kHz. The output load is a resistor. Considering For practical application, I connected a rectifier in parallel on both sides of the load resistor, the rectifier can convert high frequency alternating current into direct current for practical use. I applied two modulation methods, phase-shift modulation and frequency modulation, respectively to the inverter. I used the control variable method to change the working conditions of the inverter and observed the effects of different modulation methods on frequency and efficiency. Finally, I came to some conclusions: Phase-shift modulation The output power can be improved but has no effect on the output efficiency; frequency modulation can change the output power and output efficiency. Finally, I used a prototype of WPT system in the laboratory and LAUNCHXL-F180049C to verify the effectiveness of the modulation method.
