Description
Summary:Transacting properties were increasingly carried out through online property engines and web sites. The conventional print media were gradually overlooked with the inconvenience associated with manual browsing compared to the near instantaneous results from a keyword search on the Internet. The project detailed the development process of the property website with the property functions such as advertisement listings and e-payment solutions for transactions. The development was divided into three components, the first of which was database design. It was followed by the PHP programming of the functions required for property transactions and the last component was the visual design of the web site. Several challenges were encountered in the process and valuable third-party add-on libraries were implemented. The final product was a functional and presentable web site with the important transactional functions such as the management of advertisements and transaction history.
