The author has also learned of different types of phased array radar and understand signal, data processing of the phased array radar. After understanding about radars, the author then moved on to learn about MATLAB such as the basic functions and how to use MATLAB as a simulation to test on phased array radar detecting and tracking both single and multiple targets. Understanding both the fundamental of radars and MATLAB is utmost importance to this project so that the author can produce and understand the results as intended. Various MATLAB codes from different books and reliable online sources will be taken as references to guide the author to produce the intended result. Finally, more technical details of the radar system and MATLAB will be further discussed in this report. In this project, MATLAB version R2021a will be used.
