Description
Summary:Due to the Covid-19 pandemics in past years, the number of people in a given space has been restricted. Even though with the trace together app, we are still unable to determine the correct number of people in a given space as some of us either forgot to sign out when leaving or just simply didn’t want to sign out. Due to the growth of mobile phone usage and the technological advancement of Wi-Fi, all age groups have since stated to use their mobile phone more often to surf the internet compared to a decade ago. Therefore, with the increase in usage of mobile phones, there will also be an increase in usage of Wi-Fi in offices or at homes due to the cost of mobile data, which is way higher. Thus, Wi-Fi has unknowingly become one of our daily necessity. Hence, a proposal of automation for estimation of the total number of people and individual identity and location has been proposed to times, be it due to the pandemic or non-pandemic for an event, in office or in school. With this technology, it will allow management, tracking or recording of the total number of people in a given space as well as tracking the location of each and every individual easily.
