Elastic thermoplastic shape memory polymer for comfort fitting
A new mixture of polymers, namely TPR and TPU, is being used for study, blended in the ideal ratio of 60% to 40% by volume. The material has a strain limitation in tensile mode but is viable option for bending applications. Additional tests are carried out to ascertain its properties.
