Description
Summary:Quantum Physics from A to Z is a compilation that provides textual definitions and derived artistic visual inspirations for common terms found in some of the key areas of quantum physics. A particle could be a wave in the quantum universe, and vice versa - time and space could merge to form space-time. Quantum physics and its theories are sometimes difficult and daunting to the average person. Future science will get even more complex, and quantum technologies will lead to myriad challenges. While quantum technologies have piqued the interest, there is a gap in how we can communicate science to achieve basic understanding by scientific and non-scientific audiences. The project produced a series of graphic pieces inspired by quantum science. It concentrates primarily on the visual, graphical interpretation, ordering, and presentation of scientific terminology that underpins ideas of black holes, wormholes, and entanglement, among other things. The project's speculative and contemplative nature will allow it to explore a variety of visual aesthetic expressions to make quantum concepts more accessible to audiences who are not scientists.
