Description
Summary:In recent decades, a large part of society has begun to shift their focus away from economic growth as the main measure of success. Instead, new factors of success have been taking the spotlight, such as well-being and happiness. The pursuit of happiness is a common objective for many, and can be seen as an important part of one’s life. However, the path to obtaining enduring happiness is complex, and difficult to achieve. Unlike happiness, joy is a burst of positive emotion felt in a moment. Joy Made Tangible seeks to improve the well-being of Singaporean young adults, by encouraging and empowering them to actively seek and create joy in their physical surroundings. This will be achieved through a social media campaign, and physical kits that will be mailed out. The social media campaign will share knowledge on how to create a joyful space at home or work, providing an accessible platform to obtain information on improving well-being. Physical kits mailed also contain various personalized items that bring joy to one's space, and that share tips on how to make the recipient's environment more conducive for finding and creating joy, (Design Art): Visual Communication Keywords: social media, illustration, branding
