I have always been fascinated by the aesthetics and purpose of punk fashion culture, but being raised in an extremely traditional Chinese family since young, punk culture was actually a taboo. With fashion playing such a big role in the punk culture and Chinese tradition, I decided to challenge both sides, not to see if there could be a fusion but also struck a balance between the two, while preserving the core energy of both cultures.
