Description
Summary:Jonquilla explores the idea of self-perception and self-compassion, and how misjudgement of one’s personal abilities affects their mental state. Self-perception often refers to a person’s attitude and treatment towards themselves, and self-compassion has been a struggle that many people face, especially as they figure out their identity and placement in this world. This research paper aims to bring attention to the problem of being your own worst enemy, in the hope that people will not just be blind sighted by their goals, instead, they become more understanding and aware of their own mental states. Through researchers’ past studies and researches online on how to recognise and overcome this mindset, I will curate a self-reflection journey through my deliverables. It will be done through a collection of personal experiences, an educational social media page to target my target audience and a take-away message.
