Wherever the human lives, the basic needs should be followed. Urban farming is not an ideally new concept, however, with the combination of IoT, is an innovation to the future agricultural and technology. This project will be focused on hydroponics farming which is suitable for the urban areas. It promises to build and develop a system for urban farms with IOT equipment for the monitoring and control of every aspect of the crop or farm as a one-stop system for the benefit of the business owners. Both hardware development and software programming are required to achieve the system which can monitor, control, and analyze the data for the farming. The project uses Arduino MKR WIFI1010 to connect various sensors to measure the plants’ conditions. Arduino will send the data to dashboard sever through MQTT protocol and the Dashboard is to display the real time data of farming conditions.
