Investigation of personal mobility device (PMD) accidents I
As the number of PMD riders are increasing in Singapore, the rate of accidents is also rising. Although there are new implementations of the law regarding the speed limit and area where PMD can ride on, it does not show much effectiveness. In this report, safety of the PMD rider will be analyzed alo...

In this report, safety of the PMD rider will be analyzed alongside with comparison of actual video recording and simulation created by Virtual Crash. An extended practice of vehicle road accidents analysis. The actual video recording and simulation will be overlayed using a video editing software. This is to show the accuracy between both video recording and simulation. As a results, it proved to be a reliable method to based off video recording and create a simulation out of it with regards to PMD accidents. Another analysis of riders riding across different depths of pothole will be looked into. To investigate how serious can a fall be by riding across potholes and by measuring the head impact velocity and head contact force when the head hits onto the ground.
