The construction industry in Singapore has played a vital role in the country's socio-economic development, creating the physical facilities and infrastructure which have made possible the nation's remarkable progress. As we continue to discover the growth of these enterprising companies from our entrepreneurs, we hope to learn from their past experiences and eventually be able to take this as a lesson for future inspiring entrepreneurs. The focus of my project will be on the enterprising Consultant firms in Singapore. It will include the background of entrepreneurship and characteristics of entrepreneurs as a whole before we zoom in to the differentiating features that we might see in the entrepreneurs from the construction world. A brief summary of the consultant business and an overview of the construction industry will also be provided in this report. Some information on the challenges that future inspiring entrepreneurs might face in the construction industry will also be given. An analysis and discussion will be available at the end of this report on the 5 consulting firms being interviewed.
