Supralocal-local dissonance is reconciled by recasting the Bangsamoro cause as a supralocal-local bargain through Stathis Kalyvas’ concept of alliance, retaining classical counterinsurgency theory’s macropolitical locus but imbued with cognizance of the insurgency’s micropolitics.
