They are desirable in a variety of situations due to their resistance to tampering, especially when it comes to those that call for the adherence to predetermined regulations. This has led to the emergence and deployment of several smart contract platforms over the past few years. However, many flaws and loopholes for respective platforms were gradually discovered as the platforms started to scale. As a result, there is a need to re-evaluate the quality of the deployed platforms. Hence, we will analyse and weigh various smart contract platforms based on predetermined factors to discuss the benefits and drawbacks of each platform. Ultimately, we will conclude with a platform that we deem most suited for end users.
