Description
Summary:Singapore aims to become a Zero Waste Nation to realize environmental sustainability. Hence, Singapore government promote 3Rs (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) campaign actively to encourage residents in Singapore play a part in protect our environment. Reusing and recycling unwanted items will give them a second lease of life. This will also help to extend the life span of Semakau Landfill. When a student complete one semester of study or graduate from school, they will have a lot of things that cannot be use anymore such as textbook, notes, pass year paper, stationary etc. However, these things may require by another student. Therefore, we can reuse these items to reduce the waste being produced in Singapore. The objective of this project is to design and develop a mobile application that provide a platform for NTU students to trade their unwanted secondhand item. Users will be able to sell and buy or give and take secondhand item through the application. This fully utilized the secondhand item by reusing it and reduce waste produced.
