Description
Summary:The usage of insects to navigate tight spaces is a contentious topic in research now. Researchers are now exploring their capabilities in identifying illnesses in humans, explosives in bags and other life-saving opportunities. Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches were utilized during the project because of its potential and ability to be trained to head towards a scent. This paper will be analysing some factors which help them to navigate spaces and whether they can be further trained to identify human odour. This report elaborates on conditioning processes, evaluation of the outcomes, and the factors which could affect scent tracking.
