「過」、「咎」之用：對《周易》「過」、「咎」之詮釋及論其對《周易》道德哲學的揭示 = The use of "guo" and "jiu": an interpretation of guo and jiu in the Yijing and its moral implications

The purpose of this thesis is to examine, analyze, and shed light on the moral framework of the Yijing by using the concepts guo過 and jiu咎. It is an independent and innovative research that attempts to bracket certain assumptions about the Yijing adopted by later scholars and articulate the moral philosophy of the Yijing in a systematic way that is maximally devoid of later assumptions. It aims to explain the structure of moral system of the Yijing. The last chapter will draw comparisons with and offer general responses to contemporary moral philosophy. Since there is no sufficient research on the concepts guo and jiu in the Yijing, this study examines and analyses the uses and meaning of “guo” and “jiu” in the Yijing and the surrounding pre-Qin texts. On the basis on the proposed interpretation of guo and jiu, I further offer an exposition of the moral framework of the Yijing . The articulated moral framework does not only shed light on the guiding thought and core of the Yijing´s normative ethics, it also sheds light on the unique characteristics and the ultimate concern of the Yijing, that is, the ultimate care for humanity. 本文的目的是以「咎」、「過」為核心，來作為一個新的方式來揭示「《周易》之道德哲學」觀，以在擺脫宋明儒哲學發展中可能存在的不一之處、或是後世學者並沒有完整而系統性的解釋《周易》規範道德架構的理解下，更好地解釋什麼是《周易》的道德哲學、其規範道德的本質、架構與作用，以及與當今道德哲學作出對比、回應與討論。 在學界未有對《周易》的「咎」與「過」有充足而具說服力的研究的前提下，本文將會有考「咎」、「過」等訓詁字源義，以及參考其於先秦文本、乃至是《周易》原文之用的方式，來在傳統哲學研究的概念分析外，先復考「咎」、「過」的文字義，以及其於先秦當中的語義；來細考《周易》的規範道德之架構，而以一個學界未有的方式來揭示《周易》的道德哲學觀；這個以「咎」、「過」揭示出來的《周易》道德哲學不但能反映出當中道德規範的原則與核心，亦能解釋《周易》「咎」、「過」所揭示出的道德哲學的本質，乃至於其道德哲學的終極關懷 。
