传承：新加坡天福宫的蜕变 = Succession: the metamorphosis of Singapore Thian Hock Keng temple

俗说 “不经一番寒彻骨，怎得梅花扑鼻香”，梅花在经过漫长的寒冬后，换来的是芬芳四溢的花香，传承也是如此。传承从来不是一朝一夕的事，而是一场没有终点的马拉松。人们只能感受到传承的果实，却不了解它所经历的一切，而作为国家古迹的新加坡天福宫便是其中持有传承使命的机构。因此，本文试图解析新加坡天福宫的过去，现今与未来，其中便探析2019新冠疫情对新加坡天福宫的影响，毕竟这突如起来的危机打乱了许多机构的计划甚至对于一些机构是压死骆驼的最后一根稻草。但那些愿意接纳新科技的机构便能在此疫情下逆风而行，使他们更上一层楼，同时笔者探讨了新加坡天福宫在危机下的生存法则，并与其它宗教机构做对比。另外，此文也探讨了新加坡天福宫为何在新加坡的历史与社会上有着崇高的定位与如何作为先辈们的精神与妈祖信仰之灯塔。最后也探析了新加坡天福宫是否持有与时并进成为新式庙宇的恒心及是否能在未来持续地秉承着先辈们的寄托。As the saying goes, “one who has never tasted what is bitter, does not know what is sweet”, which goes the same as the path towards succession. The route to succession is never a one-time event, but a marathon without an end. People only see the fruits of succession, but not the difficulties behind it, and one of Singapore’s national monuments, Thian Hock Keng Temple, is an organization that holds the mission of Succession. Therefore, this article analyzed the past, present, and future of Singapore Thian Hock Keng Temple, which includes the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the Temple. As we all know, this crisis has disrupted the plans of many organizations and even leads to the fall of some organizations. However, those organizations that are willing to adopt new technologies trends in their management would then bring them to a new height. At the same time, this article examined the survival strategies of Singapore Thian Hock Keng Temple under the crisis, as well as comparing with other religious organizations. In addition, this article examined the reason behind Singapore Thian Hock Keng Temple holding on to a lofty position in Singapore's history and society, together with the meaning and development process in serving as a beacon of spirit and the belief of Mazu for the ancestors. Finally, this article analyzed whether Singapore Thian Hock Keng Temple has the perseverance to keep pace with time in becoming a modern temple, and analyzing whether it can continue to uphold the sustenance of the ancestors in the future.
