Singapore government has put in a lot of efforts to help this population. However, the amount of effort is never enough. We have the responsibility to help these elderlies too. According to a report released by the Ministry of Health, 10% of elderly in Singapore are living alone all by themselves in 2020. Accidents can happen anytime, and it is crucial to provide first-aid support as soon as possible for them as their body is fragile. It takes a longer time for them to heal from injuries. The objective of this project is to develop a system for the portal called Ageing-In-Place (AIP) Portal. There are two major components that are going to be developed in this project. The first component is the backend server which stores and processes the records in the database. It communicates with the frontend mobile application and the sensors through REST API. The second component is the web administration user interface which allows the admin superuser to manage the records in the database and visualize the sensor data. This system allows the caregivers to monitor the activities of the senior staying alone at home through sensors and interact with them through memory function.
