Summary: | Blockchain growth has been substantial over the past decade. It has evolved from a
cryptocurrency distributed ledger platform to a global computer with the advent of smart
contract and Ethereum. The capabilities of smart contract have significantly increased the
capabilities of the blockchain technology. Given the large amount of money that are trusted
within the logic of the smart contract, coding flaws are often significantly detrimental with high
financial cost. This problem is further exacerbated by the immutability of the smart contracts
deployed on the blockchain. This paper aims to address the provide a deep dive into a tool
commonly used by auditors as a preliminary analysis on the smart contract, Slither. |
