Description
Summary:The objective of this Final Year Project is to study the adoption of Electric Vehicles (EVs) in Singapore and devise recommendations in policy-making to improve the uptake rate. A survey questionnaire is constructed and promulgated to collect Singaporean’s perspective of EV adoption. This report consists of an overview of Singapore’s EV context, the methodology of research, results and discussion of survey responses and recommendations. The most influential attributes deterring EV adoption are accessibility of chargers and high cost of EVs. Several recommendations are such as enhancing of Early Adoption Incentive (EEAI) and restructuring of the Certificate of Entitlement (COE) are explored.
