Summary: | With the rise of the metaverse, blockchain and cryptocurrencies are getting more and more attention. However, the Soul-Bound Tokens (SBTs) concept is a relatively new development in the blockchain and cryptocurrency. SBT is a token that is uniquely associated with an individual and cannot be transferred or traded. This project explores the potential of using blockchain technology to store and manage the soul-bond token. Soul-bond tokens are unique crypto tokens representing a user's identity and achievements in Web3. They serve as non-transferable NFTs, which ensure the security and integrity of the user's profile. However, the current limitations in using soul-bond tokens with user profile transactions hinder their widespread adoption. This project aims to overcome these limitations by exploring the potential of integrating databases with blockchain technology to store soul-bond tokens. The goal is to demonstrate how the soul-bond token can be securely stored in a database, allowing for greater accessibility and ease of use. Furthermore, this project aims to address the current limitations in retrieving soul-bond token receipts via Ethereum. Finally, by demonstrating the feasibility of integrating databases with blockchain technology, we hope to widely adopt soul-bond tokens and their use in Web3 identity management. |
