Sharpening an unfocused image using the non-blind deblurring method
Blurring has commonly plagued images and photographs, and it usually occurs due to motion during the capturing of an image, low light intensity from the environment, weather conditions, etc. This in turn leads to a degradation of quality and loss of important details in the image. In order to revers...

In order to reverse this effect, image deblurring has been of the prime solution and is popularly utilised in recent years due to the interest in its research. In this project, a detailed study on the Non-Blind Deblurring Method, Types of Blurring involved and also a comparison among the different image deblurring techniques available in the current market. These techniques are tested according to their performance, blurring type, Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio (PSNR). This project also involves integrating the MATLAB image processing toolbox into a MATLAB application with an intuitive Graphical User Interface (GUI). This application allows the user to view the various blurring and deblurring effects that are applied on the original input images, as well as saving them for any reference in the future.
