In the meantime, Singapore's expanding population and rising economy have also helped to raise the amount of solid waste dumped. Therefore, food donation is an essential act of responsibility that aims to alleviate hunger and reduce food waste. This project is intended to develop a food donation application that will offer guidance to restaurants and caterers on how to donate food. The application allows user to quickly and easily donate excess food by providing information on food pick up location, the type of food being donated, and the quantity of food available. The food application represents a significant step towards reducing food waste and alleviating hunger by providing easy to use platform.
