Summary: | The future of the equity market seems uncertain and prone to turbulence, especially given the ongoing geopolitical tensions worldwide. While the market may experience a positive upswing for a period of time, it can quickly plummet and become volatile. In order to succeed as an investor, it is essential to have a deep understanding of the equity market. However, the abundance of investment and trading information available on the internet can be overwhelming and confusing for investors. It is crucial to be able to navigate through the vast sea of information to make informed decisions.
The objective of this project is to present a ranking methodology that can aid average retail investors in their investment decisions related to Singapore Real Estate Investment Trusts (S-REITs). We have identified a set of criteria that will help investors work within a structured framework and not feel overwhelmed when investing in the S-REITs asset class. Our approach involves analyzing the fundamental metrics of S-REITs in different sectors using relevant websites or the official S-REITs websites to identify companies worth investing in with high confidence. Additionally, we will employ several Technical Analysis (TA) strategies using various technical indicators on TradingView to evaluate their effectiveness on S-REITs stocks obtained from the previous step. Finally, we will use News Analysis (NA) to comprehend the impact of news on the share prices of S-REITs. |
