Summary:Electric vehicle applications where low-speed and high torque operation are required able to use the permanent magnet vernier motor. But there are low-order harmonics of torque ripple are produced in the motors due to various factors. In this project a comparison between the systems of Conventional ESO-based ADRC, Fully Decoupled ADRC and Enhanced ADRC was done for the tracking performance, disturbance rejection property and noise suppression performance. Behaviour of the dynamic performances mentioned above has been observed to be affected by the variations of control gain ratio and input frequency. E-ADRC was observed to have better disturbance rejection property among the three controllers and when the initial estimated inertia is larger than the actual value, tracking performance was had good results.
