The series consists of 6 episodes of 20-25 minutes each designed for over-the-top (OTT) platforms. The origins of this project arose from my desire to produce an adapted work. The book of choice was “Seeing Stars” by Christina Jones, which I first read when I was 13 years old. I purchased the book from a café’s second-hand collection of books either forgotten or donated by customers. I was drawn to its worn and well-read look, deriving that it must have been really enjoyed by its original reader to have been read so many times. My goal was to create engaging content that provides a relaxing experience for viewers. I aimed to achieve this by creating a heart-warming, comedic, and offbeat show that features scenic views of rural England. Overall, the series concept is a product of my creative innovation and my ability to produce quality content that resonates with modern audiences.
