However, to be able to integrate it into our everyday lives, a converter is required to amplify the power absorbed by natural means to a level usable by consumers. Hence, this project aims to explore the possibility of increasing the efficiency of Solar Photovoltaic in terms of its response time. This may be achieved by having two Quadratic Boost Converters connected in parallel to share the current among the converters, with each using a Sliding-Mode Controller to control it individually, to regulate the voltage level regardless of any changes in the desired output voltage or load resistance. The usage of the Quadratic Boost Converter is to achieve high DC gain, unlike the conventional boost converters. Subsequently, this report covers the design and implementation of the mentioned circuitry, as well as observations made based on the results of the experiments carried out to prove the various theories set out for the project.
