Description
Summary:Microfluidic chips are widely used in the biology industry for investigating bacterial and cells. These small, controlled flows of fluids are commonly used in a variety of research and industrial applications. This project involved experimenting with different flow rates and viscosities when pumping fluorescent dye into the chips made with Polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS). The goal of this experiment is to improve the accuracy and time efficiency of bacteria detection using microfluidic chip. The fabrication of PDMS microfluidic chips was also studied.
