Description
Summary:Climate change has been rampant in recent years and there is a need to conduct more research on how it affects the atmosphere, oceans, humans as well as animal species. This paper will focus on the impacts of climate change on marine waters, and will especially compare how differently climate affects marine water near coastal areas compared to marine water in areas less surrounded by coastal land. The study will review existing research on the subject and will conduct a study on the ten water control zones in Hong Kong to analyse the effects of climate on marine water quality. The paper will examine how climate change is affecting marine water, in terms of its impact on turbidity, salinity, temperature and oxygen levels. By conducting a comparative analysis of the impacts of climate change on coastal and other areas, this paper aims to contribute to a better understanding of the complex interactions between climate change and marine waters. The findings of this research will provide insights on building the appropriate model that can help to predict marine water quality based on climate data.
