Forests absorbs one-third of the greenhouse gases emitted from burning of fossil fuels every year. Restoration efforts has been increasing as the forests has been decreasing recently due to forest fires, agriculture expansion and urbanization. Trees and plants heavily rely on the different elements and even animals to help itself disperse the seeds. The growth of the seeds will then depend on what kind of environment it will land to. Because of this the location where the seeds land to is very important. This report will mainly explain the use of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology to determine the location of the seed in the forest.
