Summary:Solar cells are a complex technology that relies on the photoelectric effect to convert sunlight into electricity. The photoelectric effect occurs when photons, or particles of light, strike certain materials, causing electrons to be released from the material's surface. In a solar cell, this process is used to generate an electric current. The efficiency of solar cells is determined by several factors, including the material they are made of, the thickness of the cell, and the angle and intensity of the sunlight that strikes it. Silicon is a common material for solar cells, but other materials such as cadmium telluride, gallium arsenide, and copper indium gallium selenide are also used. Research into solar cell technology is ongoing, with many scientists and engineers working to improve their efficiency and reduce their costs. Some potential future advancements include using new materials, such as perovskite, that could be cheaper and more efficient than current materials, and developing new manufacturing techniques that could reduce the cost of producing solar cells. Overall, solar cells are a promising technology for producing renewable energy, and continued research and development could lead to even wider adoption of this technology in the future. The aim of this research is to find out how Solar Panels work with indoor light conditions and test it on an IoT device.
