To address this trend, a mobile application named InTouch has been developed to crowdsource volunteers as Psychological First Aiders and provide Target Users an affordable method to gain access to mental health support. This project is a full-stack mobile application development project which has several distinct features. The distinct features include providing relaxation activities such as video diary, text diary, meditation exercises and drawing. Besides, Target Users can request for mental health support through consultation sessions conducted by qualified Psychological First Aider who has completed the courses and passed the tests in the application. Through completing different activities, Target Users will be able to collect points and redeem vouchers. The application was developed using Flutter, which is a cross-platform mobile application development framework that offers a wide range of pre-built widgets and tools. The development of InTouch was divided into two primary stages which is front-end development and back-end development. For front-end development, wireframing and prototyping via Figma were conducted to improve user interface and program workflows of proposed features via Lucidchart were designed to improve user experience. For back-end development, integration with Firebase storage has been accomplished to provide target users the ability to upload their captured photos and videos so that they can revisit the latter as past memories later on. Overall, the development of InTouch provides users an inexpensive way to receive psychological and mental support through the incorporation of multiple features. These includes consultation services, mood analysis report and diary which will enhance the current mental health services and experiences to the Target Users.
