Although the main purpose of this code was created to manage and track automotive parts produced by a company, it became much popular in the market after adopting into mobile phones. The popularity came from the conveniences it provided, acquiring detailed information with just a scan of the code. The integration of QR code improved many manual processes in our society, meaning that it is optimal for this project of building an efficient attendance taking system. QR code containing data of course, class and date is generated by professors on projector screen and this QR code is to change according to a set period of time. Students scans QR code displayed on screen to confirm their attendance and attendance report table is stored in database. Professors can then acquire this data by exporting into an editable Microsoft Excel file for sharing or editing.
