The technology has revolutionized the world and led to many new inventions in industries. With our environment rapidly adapting to the advancement in technology, it is important for the authentication system of GPS devices to be resilient and accurate. By collecting raw data with the receiver in various areas, we study the performance of the authentication scheme and have a better understanding of how it will perform under real-life situations. The results then show that the authentication scheme is able to perform well in adequately open areas but is unable to attain a satisfactory success rate in areas that are more urbanized.
