Description
Summary:Rotatory equipment is utilized in the majority of industries and facilities; hence vibration analysis is critical in detecting machine defects and developing faults before the machine fails and potentially damages other neighbouring equipment. Condition monitoring is another technique for improving the reliability of a machine. Faults can be diagnosed at the appropriate time by integrating both techniques, vibration analysis, and condition monitoring. As a result, unwanted breakdowns and downtime are avoided, and the lifetime of machines is extended. The project will employ vibration signals to discern changes in the performance and condition of a motor, which will be tested in a lab environment. The goal is to identify and analyze motor faults, while also learning how to implement vibration-based condition monitoring in order to improve the accuracy of failure prognostics.
