Description
Summary:Fashion Artifice is a design project that explores the intersection of AI, fashion, and posthumanism. This is an interesting and unique subject that has the potential to offer new insights and perspectives on these fields. To approach this topic effectively, the project borrows from the history and current state of AI in the fashion industry, as well as the theories and principles of trans and posthumanism. This would include looking at how AI is currently being used in fashion, such as in the design and production of clothing and accessories and exploring the ethical and philosophical implications of using AI in this way. The project considers how the concept of "beauty" and "aesthetics" may be changed by the increasing integration of AI into the fashion industry. How might traditional ideas of beauty and aesthetics change in a world where AI plays a significant role in the creation and presentation of fashion and art? Finally, the project explores ways to present findings and ideas in an experimental editorial design outcome. This involves creating visual materials such as photographs, illustrations, or other graphics, and writing to communicate ideas and concepts.
