It was built using Virtual Reality Modeling Language and Blaxxun Contact 7 Communication Platform. As the real campus, daily activities can also be found in Virtual Campus. We can see students and lecturers walking around the campus area. There are also some avatars seen doing exercises such as stretching, jogging, and swimming. However, currently there are only three sport activities that can be found in Virtual Campus. Therefore, the initiative to develop more sport activities in Virtual Campus was made in order to make it more lively and close to the real NTU‟s campus living. This project was started by gathering NTU students‟ responses to the campus living. A survey then was conducted from 11th August to 22nd August 2008 (week 2-3). It was targeted to NTU students‟ who are living in the campus. The purpose of this survey was to find out what are the important elements in the campus living for students. The focus of this project was to design and implement tennis practice simulation. There were two modes of tennis practice that were going to be implemented in this project. In the first mode there was an avatar practicing his strikes by himself. He would be play by hitting the ball against a wall. In the second mode, there were two avatars involved. Therefore, a bouncing ball algorithm and moving avatar would be needed for this case.
